Those who purchased flats from Gulhifalhu to receive flats from Hulhumale

Government has made the decision to give flats from Hulhumale’ to the people who purchased flats from Gulhifalhu.

In a press conference held Thursday afternoon, Housing Minister Dr. Mohamed Muizzu said that President Abdulla Yameen had made the decision to provide flats from Hulhumale’ to the 158 people who purchased flats from Gulhifalhu.

“When President Yameen came to power, he vowed that he would not violate their rights. That they would receive their right. Hence, President Yameen made the decision today to ensure that everyone who purchased flats in Gulhifalhu to be arranged accommodation in Hulhumale’,” said Muizzu.

A reporter from “Sun” asked from which phase in Hulhumale Development Project the flats would be provided, to which Muizzu said that details regarding the flats would be provided on a later date.

He said that money to purchase flats from Gulhifalhu would be cut from rent on the flats in Hulhumale’.
