Adhaalath Party deputy leader summoned to court

Deputy leader of Adhaalath Party, Ali Zahir has been summoned to Criminal Court.

Ali Zahir spoke to “Sun” on Thursday and said that he had received a court order summoning his presence at Criminal Court at 2 pm, February 21.

He said that the court order read that he was being summoned for the court’s use. But that he did not know what it was about.

Adhaalath Party leader Imran Abdulla was sentenced to 12 years in prison recently in a move heavily criticized by opposition politicians, including Ali Zahir.
