Abdul Raheem being sent abroad for treatment

Deputy leader of Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM), Fonadhoo representative at People’s Majlis Abdul Raheem Abdulla is to be sent abroad for further medical treatment.

A member of PPM Parliamentary Group spoke to “Sun” on Thursday and said that doctors had advised that Abdul Raheem be taken to Sri Lanka for further treatment.

He currently lies in Intensive Care Unit of ADK Hospital.

He was taken there on Wednesday complaining of chest pain.
