Muliaage area shutdown as explosives found

Security forces have shutdown Muliaage area after explosives were found there, and are currently operating in the area.

Police and military officers are operating in Alikilegefaanu Magu, behind Muliaage, and Explosives Ordnance Disposal specialist has been spotted working with them.

No details regarding the case has been revealed through any official authority yet.

Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF) media officer Adnan Mohamed said that they could not reveal any details regarding the case just yet, but that it would be revealed later
