Eva and Mahloof to be summoned to EPA for littering “USD” in front of Dhoovehi

Environment Protection Agency (EPA) has ordered the MP for South Galolhu constituency, Ahmed Mahloof and MP for North Galothu constituency, Eve Abdulla to present themselves regarding the littering in front of the home President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom, G. Dhoovehi with USDs printed with the President’s face.

MP Mahloof told Sun Media today that the EPA ordered the two to present themselves within seven days.

The slip sent from EPA today says that they are being summoned for violating the regulations for garbage management.

According to the regulations of garbage management, the fine for littering on streets is between MVR 5 - 500.
