Man from Fuvahmulah arrested for repeated sexual abuse of minor

A 53 year-old Maldivian man has been arrested from Fuvahmulah for repeatedly sexually abusing a minor.

The man was arrested Sunday night under court order.

Police have been granted remand period of 10 days to investigate the case while the man will be kept under arrest in a facility arranged by Home Ministry.
