Bassam questioned in MMPRC case

General Secretary of FAM, Bassam Adheel Jaleel has been question by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) as part of their investigation into Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC).

Sources say that Bassam was questioned by the ACC on 19 January. He was questioned regarding the corruption of someone else.

While the ACC has questioned Bassam, Attorney General Mohamed Anil and the Fisheries Minister Dr. Mohamed Shainee was also questioned by the ACC in the MMPRC case.

ACC said that they cannot share any information about an ongoing investigation.
