Nihan leaves to Chennai for further treatment

People’s Majlis representative for Vilimale’ and Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM) Parliamentary Group Leader, Ahmed Nihan Hussein Manik left for India on Wednesday for further treatment.

Deputy Leader of PPM Parliamentary Group Riyaz Rasheed spoke to “Sun” and confirmed that Nihan had left to Chennai, India.

He said that Nihan’s condition had improved since he was admitted in ADK Hospital and treated at the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.

Nihan is receiving treatment for a respiratory ailment, details surrounding which are not clear at this point.
