Police: Discussions are ongoing about sending Zuha’s body abroad

Maldives Police Service has said that they still discussing as to whether the body of Hawwa Zuha, who was found dead in the ally of H. Laaluge on Wednesday night, would be sent abroad for a postmortem.

A Media Official of the Police told Sun Media today that they arrangements to send Zuha’s body abroad are being made and as soon as the decisions are made, the body would be sent abroad.

“About sending Zuha’s body abroad, discussions are being held with relevant authorities. As soon as it is set, the body would be sent abroad.” The Police Media Official said.

Regarding Zuha’s death, Police said that they suspect that she was murdered.

Police have arrested two people at a house frequented by Zuha.
