Fourth remand extension for man accused of sexual abuse of wife

Criminal Court has extended remand for a fourth time for Ibrahim Shah, 40, arrested on suspicion of sexually abusing his wife.

Police say Shah was given ten additional days on Sunday, 03 January 2016.

His wife, Ziyada Naeem, died last week while receiving treatment in intensive care at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH).

Ministry of Law and Gender has condemned the abuse and assured to do everything possible to find justice for the victim.
