Break-in at Lhaimagu Island Council

The Lhaimaug Island Council has been broken into and robbed.

President of the Island Council, Abdul Ganee Ibrahim told Sun Media that the robbery took place past midnight last night and it has now been reported to the Police.

He said that it is yet unclear exactly what the thief or thieves were after since things have been destroyed at all the floors.

The Council was robbed by breaking in through a window.

A Media Official from the Police said that the break-in at the Lhaimagu Island Council was reported to the Police this morning.

“One laptop, a camera and three hard disks were stolen” the Official said.

The break-in is now being investigated by the Police.
