Housing Ministry advises not to advertise on the streets of Mal

Ministry of Housing and Infrastructure has advised not to advertise on the streets of Malé City.

A notice issued from the Ministry on Thursday said that the ministry advises not to use trees, railings, walls and inland seawall for advertising purposes.

Housing Minister Dr. Mohamed Muizzu told Sun Media today that the decision was made in an effort to keep the city clean.

The notice from the Housing Ministry said that steps would be taken under the law preventing public nuisance against those who continue to do advertise on the road.
