STO lowers petrol, diesel prices

State Trading Organisation (STO) has lowered the prices of petrol and diesel.

The price of petrol has been reduced by MVR 1.20 per litre, and diesel by MVR 1 per litre.

Price of petrol and diesel stood at MVR 11 per litre before the reduction, and will now go down to MVR 9.80 per litre and MVR 10 per litre respectively.

The reduction follows changes in world oil prices.
