Gross international reserves at $566.7 m at the end of November

Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA) has announced in its Monthly Economic Review, December 2015, that the gross international reserves stood at $566.7 million at the end of November 2015.

The central bank said that this was a decline of 1 percent in monthly terms, and an increase of 4 percent in annual terms.

Out of the gross international reserves of $566.7 million, usable reserves amounted to $197.6million, which was a decline of 1 percent in monthly terms and an increase of 41 percent in annual terms.

As for gross reserves in terms of months of imports, it remained unchanged in monthly terms and registered an increase in annual terms, reaching 3.6 months at the end of November 2015.
