Dr. Shehenaz appointed Senior Policy Executive for Education

Dr. Aishath Shehenaz Adam who had been serving as additional secretary for Foreign Ministry has been appointed senior policy executive for Education Ministry.

Education Ministry said that the appointment was finalized last Monday.

The recent appointment means that there are now seven senior policy executives for Education Ministry.

This includes Ibrahim Ismail, Hussein Haneef, Dr. Ahmed Riyaz, Ibrahim Haneef, Abdul Sameeu Hassan, Shereena Abdul Samad, and now Dr. Shehenaz.

Dr. Shehenaz had also previously served as Maldivian ambassador to United Arab Emirates.

There are currently a total of 27 people working as senior policy executives in government offices, 26 of whom had worked as deputy ministers.
