The Fourth Maldives Consumer Fair has been opened today with over 19 stalls.
The three day fair at the National Art Gallery was opened by the Deputy Minister of the Economic Ministry, Adam Thaufeeq.
Organizers of the event, Club Maldives said today that the purpose of the consumer fair is for the buyers and sellers to meet under one roof and give the participants of the fair a chance to gain more customers.
Speaking at the opening ceremony today, Deputy Minister Adam Thaufeeq said that the consumer fair would bring buyers and sellers and strengthen the relationship. And the sellers would be assured of the quality and guarantee of the products on sale.
Deputy Minister Thaufeeq said that there is a lot of work on going these days to develop the businessmen and businesses in the Maldives and increase productivity.
“At a time where we, at the Economic Ministry is working to develop the businesses, I hope that a fair like this would bring together businessmen and customers face-to-face, recognize problems and discuss solutions.” Deputy Minister Adam Thaufeeq said.
The free-entry Consumer Fair would be opened from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m.
