Vice President of the Council arrested after grabbing a man

Vice President of the Dhaandhoo Island Council, Iqbal Abdulla has been arrested after he grabbed the throat of a young man who went to the council.

Sources say that the man went to the council to receive a service that is provided by the council. And the Vice President of the Council grabbed the man’s throat and gave him different injuries. The man was treated at the Dhaandhoo Health Center.

In-charge of Dhaandhoo Health Center, Niuma Latheef told Sun Media that a man came to the health center to receive treatment for injuries to the neck at noon today. And said that no further information can be given.

Information Officer of the police, Ismail Ali told Sun Media tonight that a man was arrested with a court order in Dhaandhoo following an attack on a man who went to Dhaandhoo Council. And he said that the man has now gotten his remand extended by 15 days.
