Supreme Court recess delayed

The final court of appeal and the highest court in the land, the Supreme Court has delayed going to recess.

The court previously decided to go to recess starting from 1 December. But the Supreme Court website says that the Judges Council would announce the recess date at a later time.

Supreme Court said that they have decided to go into recess on another date of the month and has not released as to the why the delay occurred.

During the recess period, no cases other than those which are deemed very important would proceed.
