The Parliament has decided to hold a session tonight to make a decision on the no-confidence motion against the Prosecutor General Muhuthaaz Muhusin by the ruling party PPM.
A member from the PPM Parliamentary Group confirmed the scheduling to Sun Media.
The no-confidence motion against the PG was brought up in the Parliament at a time where rumors are saying that the PG has decided not to prosecute any of the cases against the former Vice President, Ahmed Adheeb Abdul Gafoor. But the PG Muhusin denied those rumors last night.
Talking to the press after the sub-committee meeting of the Committee for Independent Institutes, PG Muhuthaaz Muhusin said that he would not resign even if a no-confidence vote has been taken against him. And the PG has denied the charges against him.
