SanguTV transmissions have resumed tonight.
The transmissions of the independent media, SanguTV came to a halt since Thursday night after the Police conducted a search at their station and took the hard disks and other items from the building.
The Police took the items for the investigation of a threatening Youtube video that vows to stop the “tyranny” of the Government. Police said that they know the video was uploaded from a computer at the building of SanguTV.
Managing Director of SanguTV, Ibrahim Waheed (Aswad) told Sun Media tonight that their transmissions resumed tonight, not with the return of the items the Police took, but with the equipment provided with goodwill of the supporters of SanguTV.
“We have resumed our transmission tonight with the help from the things provided by our staff and those who wish us well. The employees have given the hard disks they can provide, they have also given Wi-Fi routers. Started work with private laptops.” Aswad said.
He said that the Police took all the hard disks, Wi-Fi routers and all such things and that the Station is now running on staff equipment. Aswad said that it is not what they want and hope that the Police would return what they took.
Aswad said that SanguTV would provide full cooperation with Police investigation. He said that no employee of theirs would do anything like which they are being accused of.
