The runway of Ibrahim Nasir International Airport (INIA) has been reopened today after closing down following an oil leakage from a plane that landed today.
The runway was closed around 8 a.m. after oil leaked from a plane of Edelweiss Air. The runway was reopened at 9:10 a.m.
Media Official of the Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL), Hassan Areef told Sun Media today that the runway has now been reopened and has resumed normal operations.
He said that there were no delays of flights due to the closing of the runway.
