Shameem said earlier that so far, police have not been able to link the explosion on the presidential speedboat to Adeeb.
The detention hearing was held via video conference between Criminal Court and Adeeb, who is held in Dhoonidhoo.
Shameem said this is not lawful, and the judge’s remarks during the hearing were unclear due to lagged video.
Criminal Court Spokesperson said that the detention hearing video conference was conducted as per existing policies.
