Addressing the nation, President Yameen said that youth affairs are handled under the direct supervision of Ministry of Youth and Sports.
“However provision of financial resources and making other arrangements for youth groups used to go through Vice President Ahmed Adeeb, or then Tourism Minister Adeeb,” President Yameen said.
Muaz clarified that the “youth groups” referred to by the President were sports movements and groups working for youth empowerment.
