President Yamin has met with CP Waheed

President Abdulla Yamin Abdul Gayoom has met with the Commissioner of Police, Hussain Waheed today.

Sources say that the President met with the CP Waheed today around 12:15 p.m. at Shaheed Hussain Adam Building. It is yet unclear as to the topic of discussion at the meeting.

The President has met with CP Waheed even after the explosion on board the Presidential launch took place.

Spokesperson of the President’s Office, Ibrahim Muaz Ali told Sun Media that he cannot comment on it.

CP Hussain Waheed told Sun Media that President Yamin meets with him to discuss different things.

The Commissioner did not give a direct response when asked if the President met him today.
