Home Minister: Jamsheed is a very trusted person

Home Minister Umar Naseer has said that Assistant Commissioner of Police, Mohamed Jamsheed is a very trusted person.

Minister Umar told Sun Media today that he trusts Assistant Commissioner Jamsheed a lot and he is also on the National Inquiry Commission investigating the explosion on board the Presidential launch.

Assistant Commissioner Jamsheed was the Head of the Police Intelligence and got when he was selected on to the Inquiry Commission. But he has now been dismissed from the position.

President Abdulla Yamin Abdul Gayoom has tasked the Home Minister Umar to run the National Inquiry Commission.

Regarding the investigation, Minister Umar said that the investigation is making progress.
