A boat named “Speed” traveling from Addu City to Malé has crashed on “Adhahamaagala” reef in G.A. Atoll.

The Police at G.A. Villingili have taken the people on the crashed boat to G.A. Kondey.

Police say that there was a woman, two, children, two local men and two expats on the boat when it crashed on the reef and none of them suffered any injuries.

Police say that their officers at G.A. Villingili Police Station went to the scene of the crash once it was reported. And they said that they received assistance from the staff of Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa resort in G.A. Atoll in rescuing the people on board.

The boat is now being freed from the reef by the Police, the boat’s crew and others.
