President Yameen extends Eid greetings

President Abdulla Yameen, who is presently in Mecca for the hajj pilgrimage, has extended Eid al-Adha greetings to the people of Maldives.

In his message, the President noted that Eid al-Adha was an occasion to reinforce unity and harmony among the Muslim community, by working together with each other and ?showing compassion to one another.

Emphasizing that hajj pilgrimage encourages the establishment of harmonious familial and brotherly relations amongst us, President Yameen also advised Maldivian citizens to obtain the moral wisdom of this holy occasion of Eid al-Adha.
