Suspected plane debris found in resort

An object believed to be a part of a plane has washed ashore Alifu Dhaalu Vilamendhoo.

Police said in a statement that an investigation has been launched after the discovery was reported by Vilamendhoo this morning.

A team from Alifu Dhaalu Mahibadhoo Police Station has arrived in Vilamendhoo for the investigation.
