A boat travelling to Mal

A boat travelling to Malé City from Taj Coral Reef Resort has crashed on a reef.

MNDF said that the boat “Nuumas” got it’s hull destroyed when it crashed on the reef of Vaadhoo Island Resort. They said that the boat took in a large amount of water and that the four people on board when the incident occurred have now been rescued.

The Police have now joined the operations to save the boat from Taj Coral Reef. The boat “Nuumas” is 45 ft long.
