Family of the former VP moves to England

The family of the former Vice President, Dr. Mohamed Jameel Ahmed has emigrated to England.

A member of the former Vice President’s family, who wishes to remain anonymous, told Sun Media today that Dr. Jameel’s wife, Haulath Faheem and their three children moved to London on 5 September.

Dr. Jameel has not returned since he left the country in July. Back then he first went to Sri Lanka claiming it was for medical purposes while MPs supporting PPM were openly discussing to pass a no confidence motion against him. But after he medical visit, he went to England without returning to the Maldives.

Jameel was impeached from the Vice Presidency claiming that he was not doing his job. But Dr. Jameel has denied those allegations.
