13 participants of the Aviation Security Course has received certificates

The 13 participants of the 51st Basic Aviation Security Course conducted by the Aviation Security Command (AVSECOM) have received certification of completion.

Ten of the 13 participants were men in the course targeted to Aviation Security Officers.

The course was conducted from 16 August to today covering 70 hours of training in a month.

AVSECOM says that the purpose of the training courses conducted by them is to train their personnel to the level recognized by the International Civil Aviation Organization.

The course with a total of 14 modules was conducted at the MNDF training center at Girifushi and at Ibrahim Nasir International Airport (INIA). And so the part of the course in Girifushi was conducted from 17-24 August.

The course covered clearing zones and how to check people along with patrolling and checking bags.

Aside from practical training, the course also covered awareness programs also with leadership programs to create interest for the job.
