Former Defense Minister Colonel (Retired) Mohamed Nazim who is currently serving a 11-year prison sentence was treated at Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) again on Saturday morning.
He was treated at the state hospital last Thursday as well.
A member of his family informed Sun Online that he was taken to an internal medicine doctor. And that he had now been transported back to prison.
Meanwhile, Nazim’s family has also requested that he be allowed to travel out of the country to consult with an ophthalmologist. They are yet to receive permission for their request.
Nazim was sentenced to 11-years in prison on March 27, 2015 after he was found guilty of weapons charges.
Nazim has been taken to see doctors quite frequently since his arrest. In addition to IGMH, he was treated at ADK Hospital and also taken to Singapore for treatment.
