The Vice President Ahmed Adheeb Abdul Gafoor has said that it is a difficult task to enrage him anywhere and that he learned it from playing sports.
Speaking at the Colours Award ceremony held at Dharubaaruge tonight, Vice President Adheeb said that he has spent different parts of his life playing sports. And through those sports, he has learned different life lessons.
“Today, while I’m at the political stage or at something else, in no way can anyone anger me. Well tolerance or patience, I believe was taught to me in sports.” Vice President Adheeb said.
Vice President said that teamwork is something very important he learned in sports. Highlighting the the success that can be achieved if a teamwork is executed properly, Vice President Adheeb said that patiently working is a secret of success.
He said that humility in winning and patience in losing is learned in sports.
“It is something that I learned is sports that we would lose at things and cannot win in everything. I also learned to process the loss, work out the cause of the loss and do everything for the win playing sports.” The Vice President said.
Vice President Adheeb requested the every student work to succeed in a sport aside from studying well.
