CP advises Police to move forward in the face of threats

Commissioner of Police, Hussain Whaeed has advised the Police to move forward with their work in the face of threats and harassment.

Speaking at the closing ceremony of the 26th Investigation Officer’s course at Iskandharu Koshi today, Commissioner Waheed said that if the Police back down in the face of such threats, the future of the country would be dark.

“We receive different harassment, calls and messages from different sides. That is the moment we should fulfill our responsibility to the nation. At that moment, if we back down due to those messages, we will see tomorrow a little darker.” Commissioner of Police, Hussain Waheed said.

The Commissioner said that the Police have to be strong and courageous when they receive threatening calls and messages or country cannot achieve peace.
