Allied to be partner at the Whale Shark Festival

Allied Insurance Company has been assigned as a partner at the 3rd Annual Whale Shark Festival.

Allied said that they decided to take part in the 3rd Annual Whale Shark Festival held in A.Dh. Maamigili this Saturday to be part of the work to protect the environment and the sea.

They said that they recognize how delicate the environment is and are trying to take part in effort for environmental protection. And so they are grateful to be able to provide support in the Whale Shark Research Program that is part of the festival.

A total of seven islands are taking part in the festival today. The famous local singer, Unoosha is also taking part in the Whale Shark Festival this year.

This year’s Whale Shark Festival is being organized on the occasion of the International Whale Shark Day. Organizers of the festival say that while they have a lot of activities planned this year, some are completely new to the festival.
