Committee approves three individuals nominated for CSC member

The Parliament Committee on Independent Commissions has approved three individuals nominated for the post of member of Civil Service Commission (CSC).

The three individuals are Ahmed Hassan Didi, Abdulla Naseer, and Ali Shameem.

All three scored above 75 points in the committee’s evaluation.

The parliament invited applications for the post of CSC member on 16 July 2015, following the resignation of its President Dr Mohamed Latheef, and the end of two members’ tenures, Ahmed Hassan Saeed and Khadheeja Adam.

Dr Mohamed Latheef has been appointed as the Chancellor of the Maldives National University.
