Three members appointed to HRCM

The three individuals approved by the parliament have been appointed as members of the Human Rights Commission of the Maldives (HRCM).

The three new members are former MP Shifag Mufeed, Aishath Afreen Mohamed, and Aminath Eenas.

The letters of appointment were presented to them by President Abdulla Yameen, at a ceremony at President’s Office this morning.

Tenures as HRCM members expired today, for Mariyam Azra, Ahmed Tholal, and Jeehan Mohamed.
