CP: Police will give any assistance they can in the search for MH370

Commissioner of Police, Hussain Waheed has said that the Maldivian Police would provide any assistance they can in the search of the Malaysian flight MH370 which was lost midflight.

Speaking at his meeting with the Director General of the Malaysian Civil Aviation, Dato' Sri Azharuddin Abdul Rahman and the Malaysian investigation team, CP Waheed said that the Police are investigating the reports of the suspected plane debris being washed ashore in the Maldives.

Dato' Sri Azharuddin Abdul Rahman, who is leading the Malaysian investigation team, thanked the Maldives for reporting the suspected plane debris as soon as it was reported in the Maldives.

Senior Police staff also attended the meeting held at the Police HQ at Shaheed Hussain Adam Building yesterday.
