President proposes to transfer Centre for People with Special Needs to Health Ministry

President Abdulla Yameen has proposed to the parliament, to transfer the Centre for People with Special Needs in Kaafu Guraidhoo to the Ministry of Health.

In a letter in this regard to Speaker of Parliament Abdulla Maseeh, the President requested that this proposition be reviewed and put to the parliament floor for voting.

The proposition has been forwarded to the Parliament Committee on Oversight of the Government for review.

The Guraidhoo Centre for People with Special Needs is currently under Ministry of Law and Gender.
