Two arrested with alcohol in Hulhumal

Two people have been arrested on suspicion of possession of alcohol in Hulhumalé.

The suspects are Maldivian men aged 23 and 30.

Police say they were arrested by Hulhumalé patrol police near the yacht marina at around 11:00 p.m. on Sunday, and 21 bottles of alcohol were found at the scene of the arrest.

Separately, police arrested five people in Hithadhoo, Addu City, on Friday, on suspicion of possession of three bottles of alcohol.
