And when the roads are closed off to vehicles to ensure a quiet peaceful environment during prayers.
“We want to change that area to be a peaceful, safe place for prayers. And at the end of our work, with God’s will, we would see a peaceful praying area like never imagined before.” Minister Muiz said.
Minister Muiz said that with the changes to the area, about 25,000 people can pray at the Islamic Center at a time. He said that the changes would be in effect starting this Thursday and the traffic signs would be installed in the area as well.
“We are bringing these changes in the thought of making this area a peaceful area for people using it for multiple purposes especially for using the mosque” says Dr. Muiz, “to expand the floor of the mosque as much as we can.”
