Police has appealed to the public to find two people who picked up an envelope with a large sum of USD.
Police said that there would be USD 7000 in the lost envelope which was accidentally dropped on the street.
Appeal for Public AssistanceThe Maldives Police Service is appealing for the public’s support in identifying the men caught on CCTV camera.The investigators of the General Investigation Department would like speak with the men seen in the CCTV footage regarding a lost envelope with US$7500 on 27th of July 2015.Anyone with any information about the identity or the whereabouts of these individuals is urged to contact the Maldives Police Service Hotline at 3322111 or the General Investigation Department at 9631696.

The video released by the Police show two young men coming in a motorcycle and park the vehicle. Before leaving on the motorcycle, one of the men picks up an envelope on the ground nearby and puts it in the under-seat box.
The Police said that since the people in the video have not been identified, they have not been brought in for questioning. The Police appeals to the public to come forward with any information about the two people as soon as possible.
