Man arrested in suspicion of theft from a house

A man suspected of stealing MVR 34,000 from a house in G.Dh. Gaddhoo has been arrested.

Police said that they arrested a 34-year-old man in case reported to the Police last Tuesday about the theft of over MVR 34,000 and US Dollars. Police said that he was arrested on Wednesday in G.A. Kondey where he was hiding from the Police.

When he was searched after his arrest, Police found MVR 4,900 believed to be part of the money he stole.

G.Dh. Thinadhoo Magistrate Court has given seven days to keep the man in Police Custody and complete the investigation.
