Two people for cracking two safes and stealing MVR 25,000 has been arrested

Police have arrested two people who cracked two safes at two different shops and stole MVR 25,000.

The Police said that they detained two people who ran after being told to stop for questioning because they were behaving suspiciously near Luxury shop. And when they were searched, MVR 25,000 was found on them believed to be stolen and today, they have been suspected of cracking a safe at a shop.

Police said that thefts from the safe at La Isla Trading and Albion Store were reported to the Police today and they believe that that the money found on the two people detained last night was from the safe of Albion shop. And they said that nothing was stolen from the safe of La Isla Trading.

The two men who were arrested last night are 36-year-old and a 42-year-old.
