Three taxis parked near the Carnival area has caught fire and burned

Three taxi cabs parked near the Carnival area has caught fire and burned.

Spokesperson of MNDF, Major Adnaan Mohamed told Sun Media that three taxi cabs that were old and not in use were burned around 6:15 p.m. near the Carnival area.

He said that the fire was controlled moments later by the MNDF Fire and Rescue Services and no was injured in the fire.

The case is being investigated by the Serious and Organized Crime Department of the Maldives Police Service.
