Media Council moves to Billoorijehige

Maldives Media Council (MMC) has moved to the former Malé City Council building, Billoorijehige.

MMC has said that all their services would be available at Billoorijehige now that they have fully relocated.

The MMC is on the east side of the second floor at Billoorijehige.

Media Council consisted of 15 elected members to regulate print media in the country with 14 clerical staff.

The government has decided to move the offices of the Broadcasting Commission as well.

The former City Council at Billoorijehige was relocated to Huravee Building in April.
