Foreign Ministry: Maldivian High Commission in Bangladesh has not been closed

Ministry of Foreign Affairs has denied reports that the Maldivian High Commission in Bangladesh had been closed.

Media Coordinator of Foreign Ministry Ahmed Anoosh told Sun Online today that the Maldivian High Commissioner to Bangladesh was recalled recently, but the High Commission was never closed.

He said that the mission has always had a second secretary level official.
