The remand of 12 out of the 20 people arrested in the child prostitution case in Gn. Fuvahmulah has been extended by 15 days.
Their remand was extended when they were taken to court to decide on their detention. The others arrested in the case are also in Police custody.
Police have said that the investigation has revealed that there are people from other islands involved in the case.
Sources say that there are famous businessmen of Fuvahmula involved in the prostitution case involving two minors.
