MP for the Mid-Hithadhoo constituency, Brigadier General-retired Ibrahim Mohamed Didi has returned to the Maldives after treatment to his heart condition.
Ibrahim Didi left to India for treatment in March.
Talking to Sun Media today, MP Ibrahim Didi said that he returned to the country on Thursday.
“By God’s will my condition is very good now.” MP Ibrahim Didi said.
He was treated in the ICU at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) before he left to India.
MP Ibrahim Didi was also charge with terrorism for his involvement in the unlawful arrest of the Chief Judge of the Criminal Court, Abdulla Mohamed and his detention at Girifushi. But the state has now retracted those charges.
