Economic Ministry has ordered that closing time of shops, cafes and restaurants be reverted back to original time with the end of the 6 fasting days of Shawwal.
Deputy Economic Minister Adam Thaufeeq on Friday informed Sun Online that shops need to be closed at 10 pm and restaurants and cafes at 12 am starting Friday.
Economic Ministry had given permission for shops to close at 11 pm and cafes and restaurants at 2 am during Ramadan and 6 days of fasting during the month of Shawwal.
Economic Ministry said that shops, cafes and restaurants that fail to adhere to the set closing time will be penalized.
